The Red Vineyard is the only painting that Vincent van Gogh sold in his lifetime. Bought by Belgian painter and art collector Anna Boch for ₣400, it features a local Arles vineyard that the legendary artist was enraptured with. Bright reds and yellows capture a late-afternoon in autumn, mellowing into blues. Probably one of the most impressive things about it is that he worked on it from memory, with a blend of imagination that’s distinctly van Gogh.
These colors inspire the Visconti Van Gogh Red Vineyard fountain pen, featuring a body made from resin in swirls of red, orange, copper, and blue. This cartridge/converter writing instrument features a steel nib and Visconti’s magnetic cap mechanism.
We have for sale a brand new Visconti Van Gogh Red Vineyard with an F nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
