The Sailor 1911S (or “Standard”) is considered a gateway to the brand’s gold-nibbed pens. It has a cigar-shaped silhouette smaller than the 1911L, with a cap and body crafted from resin that makes it relatively lightweight.
Sailor is known for its top-notch gold nibs, and they provide unique feedback similar to graphite on paper. The 1911S carries a 14K nib, which, paired with a tactile response, offers an interesting writing experience.
We have for sale a pre-owned Sailor 1911S Black with an H-M (hard-medium) nib. It has been polished and is in good condition, despite retaining a few hairline scratches. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
