The Sailor Pro Gear Limited Edition Blue Dawn isn’t your typical release from the popular fountain pen line. One reason is its finish: the deep blue barrel, which is Sailor’s corporate color, is dusted with fine glass particles that add a beautiful sparkle to the pen. The the flat-top silhouette is traditional,this particular Pro Gear pen has a special, plain nib with only a cursive “21” engraved on it to indicate that it’s made from 21-karat gold using the company’s original technology. The Blue Dawn was released to commemorate Sailor’s 110th anniversary in 2021.
