Dragons are believed to be powerful deities in Shinto and are said to live in bodies of water, often near mountains and temples. Their journey from the waters to the clouds is seen as a display of power, divinity, and protection.
The shoryu, or “rising dragon,” is often depicted in traditional Japanese art, and is featured on the Platinum 3776 Century Kanazawa-haku Century Shoryu. The mythical being is carefully painted on thin layers of Kanazawa gold leaf applied by hand using the traditional “Momi Chirashi” technique, offering depth and elegance.
We have for sale a Platinum 3776 Century Kanazawa-haku Century Shoryu with a 14-karat gold M nib. It comes with its box and other inclusions; however, it is missing the paper explaining the shoryu’s story.
