Parker Duofold Centennial Duofold Fu Limited Edition
₱52,000.00

In 2009, the People’s Republic of China had its 60th foundation anniversay. Huge events were held to commemorate the event in Beijing and all over the country, which included parades, pageants, and galas. Many commemorative products were also released, from stamps, to coins, to writing instruments. One of these was the Parker Duofold Centennial China Red fountain pen produced a year earlier.

The China Red was part of several China-exclusive designs launched that year. The collection included fountain pens and ball point pens, among others. This particular release is similar to the traditional Big Red, with a slight variation to its hue. It features three cap rings and a gold nib engraved with the character for “Fú”, which means “blessings, happiness, and good fortune.” The cap’s finial features the same character, but with the aesthetic of traditional Chinese lucky coins.

We have for sale a pre-owned Parker Duofold Centennial China Red fountain pen with an 18-karat gold M nib. It has signs of use, including inner staining inside the cap of the pen. It comes with its presentation box and papers, but without its foam insert.

Length capped: 13.7 cm.
Length uncapped: 12.8 cm.
