Namiki Yukari Raden Shooting Star
₱155,000.00

As in many parts of the world, a shooting star (“nagareboshi”) is a symbol of hope and good luck in Japanese culture. It’s said that seeing it across the sky gives a glimpse of the gods, and wishing on it thrice may make one’s dreams come true. It also has close ties to Tanabata (Star Festival), which celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi as they cross the Milky Way.

Inspired by its fleeting beauty, the Namiki Yukari Shooting Star fountain pen interprets the sparkle of its trail against the night sky. Created by artisans Misa and Yutaka, it features Togidashi-taka Maki-e (burnished raised maki-e) and raden (embedded mother-of-pearl), offering users an interesting visual and tactile experience. It’s crowned with a No. 10, 18-karat gold nib.

We have for sale a brand new Namiki Yukari Shooting Star fountain pen with an F nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inserts.

Length capped: 14.24 cm.
Length uncapped: 12.91 cm.
