Nakaya Nanohana Iro Zogan Inlay

Nanohana-iro is a bright, happy yellow inspired by the nanohana or rapeseed blossom. Together with sakura (cherry blossoms), nanohana herald the coming of spring in Japan. 

Nanohana-iro is also a special finish Namiki does for some of its made-to-order fountain pens. This is seen in this custom Nakaya Nanohana-Iro fountain pen with Zogan inlay. It features the vivid yellow of rapeseed blossom with a special Zogan inlay on its section. Zogan is a traditional Japanese inlay craft that varies in technique depending on the material. For this pen’s inlay, silver was used.
