Namiki Ukiyo-E Toyohona Tomimoto
₱36,500.00

A favorite muse of ukiyo-e artist Kitagawa Utamaro, Toyohina Tomimoto was a popular 18th-century geisha known for her beauty and her shamisen skill. Featured on the Namiki Ukiyo-e Toyohina Tomimoto fountain pen, Kokkokai artisans recreated her likeness based on Kitagawa’s “The Geisha Tomimoto Toyohina,” where she’s seen wearing ageboshi, a headdress worn by fashionable women to keep their oiled hairstyles safe from dust and wind.

We have for sale a brand-new Namiki Ukiyo-e Toyohina Tomimoto with a 14-karat gold nib in B. It comes complete with its box and papers.

Length capped: 14.7 cm.
Length uncapped: 13.0 cm.
