If you enjoy a good adventure, then Jules Verne is probably one of your favorite classic authors. A 19th-century French writer who helped establish science fiction as a genre, he was known for detailed expositions, smoothly blending hard facts with imaginative escapades and impossible expeditions. His literary collection “Voyages Extraordinaires” includes popular titles such as “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. 

In honor of his contributions to literature, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Jules Verne in 2003. Almost as sleek as the Nautilus submarine from “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, it features a gorgeous guilloche body and cap sealed with clear lacquer, reminiscent of the deep sea. Its platinum-plated trims offer a Victorian vibe, down to the shape of its clip. The nib features an engraved vintage diving helmet and is made from 18-karat, rhodium-plated gold.
