₱145,000.00

King François I of France was considered the first true king of the French Renaissance. He was a big fan of Italian artists, even bringing Leonardo Da Vinci to court. A poet himself, François he was known to tour France and become familiar with the common folk, offering support and even creating a public library while curtailing abuses by the nobles. He was also the founder of Collège de France in Paris, which continues to stand today.

In honor of “le grand roi François”, Montblanc released the Patron of Art Homage to François I Limited Edition 4810 fountain pen. Its barrel is made from the semi-precious tiger’s eye stone, which represents the charm that the king was said to wear. This is contrasted by a black cap, section, and barrel end made from precious black resin. Gold-plated trims feature gorgeous floral engravings that echo the Renaissance, and are highlighted by an 19-karat champagne gold nib.
