One of several Year 2000 releases, the Montblanc Bohéme Steel Amethyst is a great representation of the new millennium: unapologetically shiny with a bit of bling. This fountain pen is made from radial stainless steel with platinum plated trims contrasted by a black precious resin section. The clip is decorated with a synthetic, paramount-cut amethyst jewel, while its retractable nib is made from 18-karat gold that has been plated with rhodium to match the look of the entire pen.
