In 2000, Montblanc released several Bohème writing instruments in the metallic colorways inspired by the new millennium. Ballpoint pens were also offered, including the Bohème Platinum, which features a black precious resin body and cap and platinum-plated fittings. Unlike other  Bohème offerings, it doesn’t come with a gem on its clip, and instead has a slight indentation where the stone is often placed. All in all, it is a neat, understated pen that deserves a place in your breast pocket daily.
