Montblanc’s The Origin Collection was released in 2024 to celebrate 100 years of functional luxury. Inspired by designs from archives dating back to the 1920s, these fountain pens show how the brand’s technology and aesthetic have evolved over the years. 

The Origin Collection 149 Fountain Pen is based on the earliest Meisterstück releases. Platinum-plated trims contrast a body made from black precious resin. Adding a vintage flair is the original Meisterstück logo, etched on the side of the cap that features a slightly marbled design. The nib is made from 18-karat, rhodium-plated gold (Au 750) and is engraved with “100”, as well as the years “1942” and “2024”.
