The Montblanc Meisterstuck line is known as the “masterpiece” range when it comes to highly-functional pens with a timeless design. Its flagship pen coded as “149” features a cigar shape that has gone through several evolutions throughout the decades. 149s from the 1980s sported the split ebonite feed, which later transitioned to hard plastic. While an ebonite feed is still the choice of vintage pen lovers and calligraphers, the design changes still hold true to the line’s promise of delivering a no-fuss, high-quality writing experience that represents both practicality and prestige.
We have for sale a Montblanc 149 from the early ‘90s with an 18K, bi-color nib in EF, it features an early plastic feed and brass filler threads. It’s marked with a serial number. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
