The Montblanc 149 carried a bi-color, 18K gold nib for a few years in the early ‘90s, which is probably the shortest run of a specific nib that the Meisterstück flagship has ever had. It features the brand’s early plastic feed and a brass-threaded piston mechanism. This iteration was only available from 1990 to 1994, making it a great catch.
