Montblanc 149 (14C Tricolor)
₱28,000.00

Montblanc’s Meisterstuck line was born in 1924, but it wasn’t until 1952 that the 149 was introduced as the replacement of its predecessor, the 139. While the 149 kept the #9 two-tone nib, it rounded the flat ends of the 139, giving the pen its now iconic cigar shape. The clip was also redesigned and a gold ring was added between the piston filler and the barrel. Initially, 149s were made from celluloid, but as decades passed, Montblanc used their proprietary precious black resin.

A 149 is always worth getting, and today, we’re offering one that’s pre-owned. It comes with 4C gold nib (EF), which is slightly faded. It comes with a split ebonite feed and plastic threads. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.

Length capped: 14.7 cm.
Length uncapped: 13.2 cm.
