From afar, the Mont Blanc massif is a blend of white and light blue, mostly due to the perennial snowpack that adds to its already dramatic 4,808-meter summit height every year. Inspired by its magnificence, Montblanc released the Meisterstück 146 Glacier Solitaire fountain pen featuring a faceted, frost-blue metal body that recalls the refractions of light on ice. Its trims are platinum-plated, and it comes with an 18-karat, rhodium-coated gold nib engraved with a dragon representing the Mer de Glace, the third-largest glacier in the European Alps.
