The sterling silver cap is decorated with patterns depicting traveling via elephant through the Indian jungles, highlighted by an 18-karat gold cartouche of the majestic animal. The clip has a lacquered diamond card suit representing Mr. Fogg’s wager of circumnavigating the globe in 80 days, while the ring near the finial indicates the length of their journey. The 18-karat gold nib is made more special by its embedded ruby, in honor of Princess Aouda.
