This is the collab you probably didn’t expect. 

Naruto is a record-breaking manga that inspired an anime considered one of “The Big Three” (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) of the 2000s due to its popularity and longevity. A story about a young outcast ninja whose positive attitude and belief in people led him to become the strongest, it is considered an inspiration to those who grew up with it, even as it continues to expand its fanbase today. 

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series in 2022, Montblanc collaborated with Naruto to release a Montblanc x Naruto special collection, which includes a watch, a pen case, ink, and a Meisterstück 146 fountain pen. The latter is engraved with cloud patterns that recall the brutal war in Naruto’s village. Naruto himself is featured on the cap with orange lacquer, his signature color. Orange was also used on the clip for an interesting contrast against other rhodium-plated trims. The pen carries a two-tone, 14-karat rhodium-plated nib with the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village.
