Montblanc’s Meisterstück pens represent a tradition of elegance and efficiency, which is why their construction remains mostly the same despite their evolution throughout the decades. In celebration of the line’s 75th anniversary, Montblanc released a slew of pens in 1999, one of which is a special edition Meisterstück 146. 

The pen itself has the familiar classic look with subtle upgrades. The cap has an additional ring just beneath the white star logo that bears the words “75 years of passion and soul”. The “o” in “passion” has a small diamond embedded in it. The nib, on the other hand, is engraved with “75 years”.
