In 2019, Lamy collaborated with the Japanese messaging app LINE to create special-edition fountain pen sets featuring the beloved LINE friends created by South Korean designer Kang Byeong Mok. 

Lamy x LINE Friends Brown features Brown, a bear born in 2011, who is the group’s introvert. Brown is described as “silent but has a warm heart” and is close to his sister Choco and to Cony, an extroverted rabbit. 

The set includes Lamy Safari with a brown body and cap and black trims, a cartridge, a converter, a Brown clip, a magnetic tray, and a magnetic Brown figure.
