Need a calming color to help soothe stressful workdays? Olive green comes from the popular olive, a fruit commonly used in pasta and pressed for its oil. Hailing from the ancient Mediterranean region, the term “olive green” first appeared in English some time between 1100 and 1500, and has been used ever since. 
 
A color usually associated with the outdoors, it is featured on the Graf Von Faber-Castell Guilloche Olive Green fountain pen. This unit has a light guilloched resin barrel, rhodium-plated metal fixtures, a spring-loaded clip, and a rhodium-plated, 18-karat gold nib with an iridium tip.
