Did you know that it was Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli who introduced the color “Shocking Pink” in 1937? It caused a sensation during a time when muted colors were popular, and became a staple in many designers’ palettes to counter the grimness of World War II. The 1980s ran away with neons, and to this day, different hues of bright, eye-catching pink continue to be a symbol of individuality and self-expression.
This happy color is featured on the Graf Von Faber-Castell Guilloche Electric Pink fountain pen. This unit features a light guilloched resin barrel, rhodium-plated metal fixtures, a spring-loaded clip, and a rhodium-plated, 18-karat gold nib with an iridium tip. We have for sale a brand new unit with an F nib, which comes complete with its box, papers, and other inserts.
Length capped: 13.1 cm.
