Introduced in the 1990s, the Waterman Edson Sapphire Blue was designed to commemorate Waterman Pens founder Lewis Edson Waterman, and it is indeed worthy of the name. This sought-after pen has a beautifully striking colorway with a rich and bright blue barrel that complements a gold snap cap that features 23.3k trims. The section is slightly translucent, which adds to its interesting design. The nib is made out of 18k gold and offers a stiff but wet writing experience, which is perfect for people who put a bit more pressure in their strokes. This cartridge/converter pen is said to be secure against leaks, so it’s great to bring around when you travel.
For sale is a pre-owned Waterman Edson Sapphire Blue with an M nib. It measures 15.24 cm capped, and 15.88 cm posted, and comes with its original papers and several ink cartridges. note: box not in photos due to heavy flaking from its faux leather.
