The Wancher Sekai Saihi Urushi Aka-age is the sibling of the Murasaki-age, which we offered earlier this month. Unlike the deep burgundy hue of the latter, the Aka-age features a bright red design with flame-like design created by applying ridges on raw natural urushi. A gold leaf is added later on to reveal the pattern.
