Sailor fountain pens usually conjure images of slim and streamlined barrels. This pen, however, is the total antithesis of what the brand usually produces. The Sailor Gan is a chunky unit reminiscent of the Tombow Zoom 828. This is an “egg pen” that’s probably best for desk writing especially as it comes with no clip, although we will totally understand why you’d want to show it off.
