The Platinum 3776 is an homage to Japan's iconic Mount Fuji — its 3,776-meter namesake — and taking inspiration from the clouds that swirl around this legendary mountain, the brand launched the Fuji Unkei Series with the Uroko-Gumo.
“Uroko-gumo” translates to “altocumulus clouds” in Japanese. Following the cloud’s curvy wisps, the pen’s transparent barrel features a crystalline pattern of irregular circles. This is paired with a semi-transparent blue-gray cap representing Mount Fuji through the seasons. Trims are rhodium-plated, and the nib is made from 14-karat, rhodium-plated gold.
We have for sale a brand-new Platinum Century 3776 Uroko-Gumo fountain pen with an EF nib. It comes complete with its box, a converter, a cartridge, and a 20ml bottle of Aka-Fuji ink, with a cap etched with Mt. Fuji and clouds.
