One of the last models ever released of the Pilot Murex was the Quartz, which was made available in 1981. The pen has an interesting design: slightly longer than the regular Murex, it has three black rings at the bottom of the cap, and features a Quartz digital watch near the cap finial. A light twist of the finial will reveal the watch’s chip and battery. 

We have for sale a pre-owned Pilot Murex Quartz with an F nib and a date code of H1081. The pen itself is in good condition, but sadly, the watch has stopped working. You may try to have it fixed, but do not that materials for repairs may be hard to find. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
