Reminiscent of a frosty landscape at night, the Pilot Capless Limited Edition 2021 Black Ice features a black-to-icy-blue gradient on a satin finish, bordered by a black matte push button, section, and cap. Keeping with the theme, this hard-to-find pen features a black-coated 18-karat gold finish and retracts using a technology the brand has mastered over the years. 

Every year since 2003, Pilot has produced a limited-edition Capless fountain pen, and the number of units has been based on the release year. So for the 2021 Black Links pen, only 2,021 units were made available globally.
