The Pilot 75th Anniversary Fountain Pen (also known as the Custom 75) was released in 1995 in celebration of the brand’s milestone. This flat-top, cartridge/converter pen has an ebonite base layered with lacquer and resin for a beautiful sheen. It features a “kikuza” or chrysanthemum clip that many pens from the ‘30s to the ‘50s carried, and a size 15, two-tone, 18K gold nib uniquely engraved with “1918-1995” and a larger “75”. 

This model is said to be the predecessor of the Custom 845, with one difference being the clip, as the latter had Pilot’s standard ball clip. 

Only 7,500 units of this pen were ever released, and we have one available. For sale is a pre-owned Pilot 75th Anniversary (Custom 75) Fountain Pen with an M nib. It is in good condition, with very minimal micro scratches and a bit of wear on the inner felt lining. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
