The Pelikan M815 Metal Striped Black was the first M-series pen released during the 180th anniversary of the brand in 2018. While it seems like your striped classic, it was not fully made from resin—the barrel features fine brass strips plated with palladium, resulting in a sharper look and a slightly heftier pen. Unlike the M805 Stresemann, it has a dark gray ink window just before the section, making it easier for you to check your ink reservoir.
