The Grand Place (pronounced ɡʁɑ̃ plas or “grahn plahs”) is the central square of Brussels, Belgium, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. With a history that stretches back to the 12th century, it has survived wars, bombardments, and many governments, and continues to be the heart of the city’s commerce and culture. 

Pelikan has celebrated the Grand Place twice: first was with the M620 release in 2006, and second the M800 in 2016. Both feature beautiful swirls of brown, copper, amber, and blue that resonate with the gothic architecture that the Grand Place is known for. 

What we have for sale is the latter. Aside from its unique design, this pre-owned Pelikan M800 Grand Place 2016 features gold fixtures, a black piston and section, and a two-toned 18C-750 gold nib (F). It comes with its box and papers, but do note that the outer box is slightly damaged.
