The Expo 2000, an exposition that included 155 countries, was held in Hanover, Germany, from June 1 to October 31, 2000. As an event partner, Pelikan came up with three special edition fountain pens in the years leading up to it: in the M800 Expo 2000 Hanover Human was released in 1998, the M800 Expo 2000 Hanover Nature in 1998, and the M800 Expo 2000 Hanover Technology in 2000.
The Expo 2000 Hanover Technology features a barrel with a vermeil sleeve etched with a microchip pattern depicting the digital era. Since this is an older version of the M800, it still has an ink window. Gold-tinted fixtures adorn its blue resin piston knob, section, and cap.
We have for sale a pre-owned Pelikan M800 Expo 2000 Hanover Technology fountain pen with a two-tone, 18C-750 B nib. It comes with its complete set that includes its outer box, book-like box, and papers.
