The Pelikan M800 Blue Ocean (which actually had the designation M810, according to The Pelikan Perch) was released in 1993 and was considered the brand’s first limited-edition release. Made from the chassis of the M800, this pen features a translucent royal blue body with gold-plated trims. Aside from the Pelikan finial, it also has a small, gold medallion at the end of the knob with an engraved compass rose. It features a two-tone 18C-750 nib.
Only 5,000 units of this fountain pen were ever produced, with 1,000 of those sold as a set that included a ballpoint pen. We have for sale a solo Pelikan M800 Blue Ocean fountain pen with an M nib. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
Length capped: 14.15 cm.
