Cognac, which was named after a French town, was created by Dutch settlers as a way for wine to last during travel. Made from brandy, it has to pass strict regulations for it to earn the name “Cognac”.
Inspired by this drink’s color, Pelikan released the M200 Cognac, a 2014 special edition in translucent amber. It features a steel nib and furniture tinted in gold for a cohesive look, and carries Pelikan’s trademarked piston filling mechanism. The best part about it is that it’s a demonstrator—especially since a lot of Pelikan releases are now either opaque, have no ink window, or both.
For sale today is a pre-owned Pelikan M200 Cognac with an M nib. It’s in great condition with very minimal micro scratches. We’re offering only the pen—no box or papers.
