Probably one of the best statement pieces from Pelikan, the M1000 Raden Green Ray released in 2020 unapologetically took things to the next level with its wide raden stripes that offer a beautiful mix of prismatic greens and blues from Australian abalone mother of pearl. There is a noticeable curve from the ink window to the barrel due to a thick layer of urushi lacquer, which smoothens out the barrel while adding depth to the material. Created by the Hoshukai collaboration of artists, this is a rare, limited-edition pen that holds grail status.
