The Pelikan M1000 is considered top of the line for a reason. Despite its substantial size, it is a well-balanced pen that offers the right weight for relaxed usage. It features a large, 18C gold nib that offers great writing experience–almost buttery–that can surprise anyone experiencing the brand for the first time. The nib doesn’t overly flex, but it offers a bit of a spring that makes it a joy to use.
The pen has a classic Peli design that may not seem too innovative after so many releases, but as the saying goes, “Why fix what ain’t broke?” The M1000 does what it says it will do efficiently, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
For sale is a new-old-stock Pelikan M1000 Black fountain pen with an EF nib tuned by nibmeister John Lim due to a bit of misalignment. It comes with a complete set that includes its box and papers.
