“Godron” in French refers to a vase with wavy edges. From this term, godron (also known as “gadroon”) was used to describe ornamental carvings with rounded borders. It’s also a technique used in guilloche in which repetitive patterns would be mechanically engraved on metal surfaces.
This design is featured on the Parker Duofold International Godron Gold, which was launched in 1991. Capturing the extravagance of the late ‘80s and the early ‘90s, it features a gold cap and barrel contrasted by a black section, barrel end, and cap ends.
We have for sale a pre-owned Parker Duofold International Godron Gold fountain pen installed with an 18k 750 nib (M). It has a crack on its plastic lip, but it doesn’t affect the cap seating. Otherwise, the pen has great functionality with no other issues. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
