“All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.” ― Edgar Allan Poe
Edgar Allan Poe was known as the master of the macabre. Whether in prose or in poetry, he had a lyrical, rhythmic style that gave a sense of impending doom and despair, leaving first-time readers uncomfortable and fans delightfully unsettled. Known as the master of American gothic literature, his legacy lives on in his works, most famous of which include “The Raven”, “Annabel Lee”, and “The Fall of the House of Usher”.
In 1998, Montblanc paid him tribute with the Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe. The deep blue resin of its cap and barrel swirls with a smoke-like pattern, a visual representation of the restless tone of Poe's writings. Bordered by stark black on either end, it captures a sense of beautiful yet unsettling mystery.
We have for sale a pre-owned Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe with an 18-karat monotone gold nib. It has very minimal signs of use and is in good working condition. It comes with its inner book-like box.
