Montblanc Writer’s Edition Alexandre Dumas (1996)
₱110,000.00

Alexandre Dumas is a master of swashbuckling adventures, deep mystery, and satisfying revenge, penning novels such as “The Three Musketeers”, “The Count of Monte Cristo”, “The Man in the Iron Mask”, “The Black Tulip”, and many others. Starting out as a playwright, the magic and extravagance of theater was distilled into his stories that were often set against a colorful historic background, featuring larger-than-life characters that readers can live vicariously through. As a writer, Dumas continues to excite his audiences even many years after his passing—his long-lost novel, “The Last Cavalier”, was discovered in Paris in the 1980s, and was first published only in 2005.

In honor of the many adventures he wrote, Montblanc released the Writers Edition Alexandre Dumas fountain pen in 1996. Its barrel is made from deep brown special resin that has been meticulously crafted to create an almost mother-of-pearl-like appearance polished to a high shine. The two-toned 18-karat gold nib has been engraved with fleur-de-lis, a symbol of French royalty and a nod to Dumas’ nationality. The deep brown special resin cap features a clip etched with a musketeer’s sword and the author’s signature.
