The Montblanc Heritage Collection is a celebration of humankind’s milestones and the brand’s rich history, incorporating classical designs into each pen. Some are made from precious and semi-precious metals, making them even more valuable Solitaire pens.

The Montblanc Heritage Egyptomania Solitaire Doué fountain pen is one example. Part of the Heritage Egyptomania series made up of two sets, this unit features an octagonal shape and hieroglyphs that mean “white stone mountain” on the cap, pertaining to Montblanc. Its palladium and ruthenium-coated metal barrel features writings from the “Book of the Dead”, a loose collection of text placed in ancient burial chambers that listed spells that would help the deceased cross to the afterlife. Its nib is made of 14-karat gold and embossed with a scarab.
