What started as an animated mouse whistling on a steamboat has become one of the world’s largest media companies known for their magical stories and experiences that have inspired millions of children (and children at heart) for many decades. In honor of his artistry, Montblanc released the 2019 Great Characters Limited Edition Walt Disney fountain pen, which draws inspiration from the Disneyland Park monorail. Its clip is a hat tip to Steamboat Willie, and the red, yellow, and black accents are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse’s original colors. The world-famous mouse is also engraved on the pen’s rhodium-plated, solid gold nib.
