If Brothers Grimm collated folk tales and folk poems, Walt Disney gave some of them a more wholesome and magical spin. Known as one of the two brains behind the House of Mouse, Disney created an empire based on fairy tales that was bolstered with the success of “Snow White”, the first feature-length animated movie that used cel animation and full color. Today, The Walt Disney Company is known as a global media and entertainment leader. 

In honor of the pioneering spirit of Walt Disney, Montblanc released the Great Characters Limited Edition Walt Disney fountain pen inspired by the Disneyland Park monorail. The clip represents the smokestack of Steamboat Willie—the animation sequence that initially launched the company—and touches of black, yellow, and red are nods to the color palette of Mickey Mouse, whose face is also engraved on its rhodium-plated gold nib.
