This specific Montblanc 144 has a similar build as with the 144s posted before it, with one difference—it’s in a color which has already been discontinued. While there are no more boutiques selling 144s, you can still find black units in the second-hand market. Burgundy ones don’t easily come by. 

A nod to the wine heritage of the Bordeaux region, Montblanc used to produce pens in deep burgundy. Pens in the wild that carry this shade are now considered highly desirable because of their rarity. 

For sale is a pre-owned Montblanc 144 Burgundy (Bordeaux) that comes with a two-tone F nib and brass section threading. It has general signs of microscratches but no corrosion on the nib ring. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
