The Montblanc 144 may already have been discontinued, but it’s still a well-loved member of the Meisterstück line. Bearing the same cigar shape and precious black resin as the rest of its siblings, it is slim and light, and sports a snap cap with an airtight seal—something of a guilty pleasure especially when one needs to scribble something on the go. While old 144s were piston-fillers, later models had a cartridge/converter filling system, which is another thing that differentiates it from the rest of the collection.

The Montblanc 144 is relatively an economical entry point to the Meisterstück line, and we have a pre-owned unit for sale. This pen comes with a #5 14-karat bi-color, gold nib in F, and is a slightly older edition with plastic threads. It has very minimal signs of use, and the nib ring, which often sees discoloration, is in very good condition. We’re offering only the pen, no box or papers.
