The Potato Eaters is a painting by Vincent Van Gogh that doesn’t feature the splashes of bright colors many are familiar with. Instead, it uses earthy colors, set in a crowded room of people eating potatoes. Van Gogh made the piece while living with his parents in the farming town of Nuenen. He wanted to highlight the reality of manual labor, and how the people in the painting truly earned the right to eat what they have as they have toiled for it.
Black, browns, and grays inspire the Visconti Van Gogh Potato Eaters fountain pen. It has a body made of resin and features a steel nib and Visconti’s magnetic cap mechanism.
We have for sale a brand new Visconti Van Gogh Potato Eaters with an F nib. There’s a bit of patina in the nib section. It comes complete with its box, papers, and other inclusions.
