Buyers via layaway are required to pay a 25% downpayment computed from the original price of the pen. This is due immediately to reserve the piece and is non-refundable.
Buyers may choose the length of time based on available layaway terms and may pay weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
A payment schedule will be sent after confirmation of the layaway plan. The buyer is responsible for making payments on schedule.
In case of default, a maximum of two weeks will be given to settle the payment due. The Manila Penography reserves the right to forfeit the reservation fee and all prior payments if payment is not completed within the given period.
Delivery is made after full payment. Pens reserved via layaway will be kept safely until full payment is made.
No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Returns are accepted only for pens with damages overlooked during our quality control process. Returns for buyer-caused damages (e.g., drops, improper use) are strictly not accepted. Return shipping costs will be reimbursed only if the return is due to an overlooked defect.
Notify us within 7 days of receiving your item if you identify a defect. Provide clear photos or videos of the issue. Approved returns will be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
All items pass through four separate personnel to ensure quality and condition before being listed for sale.
At The Manila Penography, we stand by the quality and authenticity of our pre-owned fountain pens. While our products undergo a rigorous quality control process, we offer the following limited warranty to address any overlooked defects:
1. Warranty Coverage: Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that were missed during the inspection process. The warranty applies only to fountain pens purchased directly from The Manila Penography.
2. Warranty Period: The warranty period is 2 weeks from the date of purchase, as indicated on your receipt or proof of purchase.
3. What is Covered: Mechanical defects such as nib misalignment, filling system issues, or other operational problems not caused by the buyer or overlooked cosmetic imperfections not explicitly noted in the product description.
4. What is Not Covered: Damage resulting from improper use, accidents, or mishandling (e.g., drops, ink corrosion, unauthorized repairs).
We offer in-person pick up, same day delivery, LBC shipping (for Philippine deliveries) and DHL shipping (for international deliveries).
In-person pick up is strictly by appointment. Same day deliveries either via Lalamove or Grab Express.
Shipping costs to be paid by the buyer.
