Sailor Pro Gear Kure Azur

The Sailor Professional Gear Kure Azur commemorates the tenth release of Sailor’s Cocktail Series, which began in 2011. Released in September 2020 and limited to 1,800 pieces, the pen takes inspiration from an original cocktail representing the clear blue waters of the Seto Inland Sea surrounding Kure, Hiroshima, where Sailor was founded. 

Its cap and barrel feature two shades of transparent blue resin, reflecting the colors of the sea, while bright lemon-yellow accents represent the Setouchi lemons associated with the region. Gold IP-finished fittings complement the vibrant colors, bringing together the coastal inspiration and playful character of the Cocktail Series. 

Completing the pen is Sailor’s large bicolor 21K gold nib, fitted here in Medium Fine. It uses a cartridge/converter filling system, combining the distinctive design of the Cocktail Series with the familiar writing experience of the Professional Gear collection.
