Platinum Izumo Biwatame

Biwa, or the Japanese loquat, is a fruit known for its sweet, tangy flavor, a texture similar to peach, and a golden-yellow color. It’s also the inspiration for the Platinum Izumo Biwatame. Made from ebonite, the golden-yellow base peeks through brown lacquer layered using the tamenuri technique, offering the illusion of looking into a deep lake. This cigar-shaped pen has gold-plated trims and features an 18-karat gold nib.
