The Pilot Custom 823 Amber is a pen that looks and feels very expensive, but is actually in a very achievable price range. This vacuum filler holds a maximum ink capacity of 2.55 ml, which is quite enough to last you a very long time. Made from mostly resin, its translucent cap and barrel categorizes it as a demonstrator, which allows you to see the refilling process and to eyeball how much ink you have left. 

Aside from its gorgeous and well-thought out design (case in point, you can still post the cap even if the filler knob is slightly open for long writing sessions), it’s also fitted with a 14K gold nib.
